We found this set of rules posted on a big banner on the side wall next to the door of one of our lodges in Ecuador. Among other rules such as "don't wear your shoes in the house" and "no smoking inside"; they felt it necessary to highlight "No vomitar en las camas" (don't vomit in the beds).
Seems like a good rule almost anywhere. We have adopted it for our trip.
